Storia

Viene fondata nel 1971 la mwcgTower Hobbies da Bruce Holecek. Nel 1982 la mwdaGreat Planes Model Distributors viene fondata da Don Anderson. Hobbico nasce nel 1985 con la fusione delle due in mwdgHobbico, Inc. Nel 2005 l'azienda diviene al 100% dei dipendenti (ESOP-mwdwEmployee Stock Ownership Plan).cite-ref-1[1] Nel maggio 2007 Hobbico acquista mwfamwfqRevell-mwfgMonogram.cite-ref-2[2] Nel gennaio 2010 Hobbico acquisisce la mwgwmwhaEstes Industries specializzata nel mwhqrazzimodellismo.cite-ref-3[3] Nello stesso anno diventa distributrice esclusiva per il nord America del marchio mwigmwiwThunder Tiger.cite-ref-4[4]
